What is the process to take maternity leave?

Refer to your organization’s maternity policy. You can continue working right up until your due date if you want to. However, it's usual to take your leave a week or two before your due date to ensure the safe, planned arrival of your baby. It is completely your choice and you can take an informed decision in consultation with your doctor.
